India successfully test-fired hypersonic missile

India is emerging as a global power in the world. Recently a superpower like Russia has said that India is a country having global power i.e. Russia has supported India.

successfully tested hypersonic missile

India has proved that it is moving ahead globally in every field of research and development

India successfully tested a hypersonic missile from APJ Kalam Island in Odisha, its range is said to be up to 1000 km

What is a hypersonic missile?

Hypersonic missile is an advanced weapon which has a speed of five Mach or more .It is five times the speed of sound.It travels at a speed of 3800 miles per hour or 6100 km per hour. This missile system has very high striking capability. It is very difficult to detect it. It has not strayed from its path

Types of hypersonic missile;

  1. Hypersonic glide vehicles (HGVs)

2. Hypersonic cruise missiles (HCMs)

1.1 Hypersonic glide vehicles

(A) how to fight and flight: It is advanced weapon or update version of cruise and ballistic missiles. You know ,these are launched into the upper atmosphere by a rocket . To hit the target, it travels at hypersonic speed, the enemy country’s anti-missile system cannot detect it, it kills its target

(B) what capabilities hold this : it’s ability to maneuver during flight makes its harder to predict from enemy detector weapon and defend against compared to ballistic missiles, which follow a more predictable trajectory. There will be no barrier in path of its

2.2 hypersonic cruise missiles;

Advanced engines are used in this missile system. Advanced engines like scram jets are used in it. Only then do they achieve hypersonic speed

Its speed is different from the previous missile (1.1). This missile system gains speed in the air for some time. When it attains hypersonic speed, it moves towards its target and the enemy cannot detect it with its anti-missile system. It accomplishes its target.

features;

It is difficult to detect

Nuclear warhead can be used in this

Its speed is more than cruise and ballistic missile

How many countries have this technology;

USA

Russia

China

India etc.
